I have this slightttt addiction to strawberry trident. If you are eating it, then I will probably have the urge to kiss you. I have had my heart broken, by the same guy, at least four times now, and I still love him with my whole heart, and I cannot wait until he gets close enough to me, to break it again. I live for music and my favorite bands. I believe there is a difference between popular music and the classics: Popular music will be irrelevant in a year, classics are timeless. I am sort of a tease, so sorry about that, I cannot lie, I am a catholic at heart and sorry I am saving it (most of it) for marriage. I love having things to look forward to, and I am sort of down without them. I always kiss and tell. I life my life, only keeping the important secrets. I love animals. I would rather pick up a load of goat shit, then spend time swimming in a pool, so that is what I do with my summers. I love my friends who get me through anything and understand that I am there for them, and sometimes they are there for me. I endorse this blog, http://www.pleasefindthis.blogspot.com/ I didn't write it, but I read it religiously. I hate being around my family, but I would do anything for them. I am just here living my life. And by the way, its katapiller.

Eventual Termination: A Poem about Doctor Gothic
A Poem about Doctor Gothic
"How do you live without purpose?" Doctor Gothic Contemplates. "What do you do with your life?" You spend your days, thinking of how to end them,
Doctor Gothic onstage, her blue eyes,
hidden under clumps of makeup, masks under, well formed eyebrows,
her hair is just another Mask.
Her hands hold a shot glass,
her eyes rest on the peaches above.
Onstage, Instead of a play, a single spotlight remains:
The practiced physician stands before you,
gifting her failure,
A hospital as the imaginary backdrop.
This horrific murderer,
calmly under the hot lights,
ready to explode.
Onstage Doctor Gothic says, "Every life you touch, lives one less day because of you,"
They don't know it yet, but you will cause them to die.
This revelation brings you down.
Doctor Gothic, she says, "Knowing this will cause you to give up on dreams..."
What will you do?
what DID you do?
Hospitals are gimmicks,
they give false hope of survival,
but you were going to die anyway...
"What do you do for the rest of your life?" says Doctor Gothic
How will you make the world better, and does it even matter?
this poem was just written to reflect the poems at the beginning of each chapter of Haunted...

Nails For Breakfast, Tacks For Snacks
Panic! at the Disco
Watch your mouth because your speech
is slurred enough that you just might swallow
your tongue
I'm sure you want, want to give up
the ghost with just a little more poise then that,
or was it God who chokes in these situations?
running late? no, no he called in,
Problem: The hospice a relaxing weekend
getaway where your a cut above all the rest,
sick and sad patient. where you're on first name
basis with all the top physicians
Solution: prescribe pills to off set the shakes
to offset the pills you know you should
take it a day at a time(fix a vice with a vice)
Thats when you stutter something profound
to the support on the line.
And with the way you've
been talking every word gets you a step closer to hell.
And I just can't help but say what everyone else,
Is thinking,
Let me, state the obvious again.
Thats when you stutter something profound
to the support on the line. And with the way you've
been talking every word gets you a step closer to hell.
I am alone in this bed. house and head.
she never fixes this
but at least she....
Problem: The hospice is a relaxing weekend getaway
where your a cut above all the rest
sick and sad patient on first name basis with all the top
physicians.

Watch your mouth because your speech Either being drunk or the fact that someone is lying
is slurred enough that you just might swallow
your tongue This problem is re-occuring and eventually there will be negative consequences
I'm sure you want, want to give up
the ghost with just a little more poise then that, The problem will go out but not without a bang, and without issues following it.
or was it God who chokes in these situations?
running late? no, no he called in, God is not responsible for these things if there even is a god, but right now he is not responsible, and it is not his help.

sick and sad patient. where you're on first name

Solution: prescribe pills to off set the shakes

take it a day at a time(fix a vice with a vice) messing up the natural things, fixing another problem with another problem.
Thats when you stutter something profound
to the support on the line. You try and state your last words, even if they aren't your last words, you just know that someone is listening to you.
And with the way you've
been talking every word gets you a step closer to hell. you continue lying getting you closer to death and closer to hell.
And I just can't help but say what everyone else,
Is thinking,
Let me, state the obvious again.
I am alone in this bed. house and head.
she never fixes this Trying to distract from the fact that something is close to dying or leaving and you are trying to distract yourself from it.
but at least she....

I first discovered this song in 6th grade around the time that my Grandma died. I think this poem has a ton of meaning to me in that way. I think that as the author I would have chosen to make this song closer to a ballad because that is the way that I began to hear it in my head at first. I feel like the situation is different than the Author's relationship with his father. This poem also makes me feel a lot of hate and a lot of anger which is what Ryan Ross (The Author) meant it to be heard as.
Sand in Your Shoes,
Sand in Your Shoes
This Providence
I couldn't stand to be in that place
I was just about to leave, when I saw your face
You were laughing at me with your beautiful mouth
You said, 'You're looking miserable, do you want to get out?'
'That party was empty.'
You said, and I agreed
A whole house full of people
But empty indeed
So we took to the beach in my rusty 510
Falling in love
We just didn't know it then
When you're only 18
And you got nothing to lose
And your living a dream
With the sand in your shoes
Falling in love is easy
It's easy to do
We fell in love with the windows rolled down
Chasing the sunset through another empty town
Your hair was a mess when you would dance on the coast
Your silhouette, like some heavenly ghost
When you're only 18
And you got nothing to lose
And your living a dream
With the sand in your shoes
Falling in love is easy
It's easy to do
Summer skies and warm colored sunsets
And a sunrise sneaking through my blinds
My demise, I just can't help it
It's suicide, looking in your pale blue eyes
Falling in love is easy to do
With the wind in your hair and the sand in your shoes
And though it may hurt to have your heart broken in two
That didn't stop me from falling for you
When you're dancing on the beach where the water meets your feet
And a cool ocean breeze is fighting the heat
Falling in love is easy
It's easy to do
It's easy to do
Oh I'm falling for you

I couldn't stand to be in that place Where is this place? It makes me think that the person was sick of his life and was thinking about changing it majorly or ending it.
I was just about to leave, when I saw your face
You were laughing at me with your beautiful mouth
You said, 'You're looking miserable, do you want to get out?' I think that this is a sort of "run away together thing where they get out and only truly understand each other
'That party was empty.'
You said, and I agreed Infatuation, not focusing on anyone else, only communicating with each other.
A whole house full of people
But empty indeed don't feel comfortable with anyone else, or the people are shallow and don't accept others for who they truly are.
So we took to the beach in my rusty 510
Falling in love
We just didn't know it then Friendship that then turned into something more. I think that whoever wrote this song is reflecting on the memory and is wishing he had taken more action towards it, or had captured it more.
When you're only 18 young people.
And you got nothing to lose Air of invincibility, thinking that they couldn't get hurt or damaged in any way possible.
And your living a dream is this the feeling you got when this was happening or before?
With the sand in your shoes near a beach or is it simply a metaphor for relaxing and enjoying yourself, and being comfortable with who you are?
Falling in love is easy
It's easy to do
We fell in love with the windows rolled down
Chasing the sunset through another empty town So, they physically left where they were and saw possibly that other places around them are exactly the same. I feel it was multiple days, because it says, chasing the sunset, which makes me feel that they followed it wherever it went.
Your hair was a mess when you would dance on the coast
Your silhouette, like some heavenly ghost someone you loved but something you cannot believe is real at all.
When you're only 18
And you got nothing to lose
And your living a dream
With the sand in your shoes
Falling in love is easy
It's easy to do
Summer skies and warm colored sunsets this only took place during the summer, and was romantic at night. maybe they had to sneak aroud to be able to "date" or fall in love, therefore it could only be at night.
And a sunrise sneaking through my blinds remembering the summer or time when this was happening.
My demise, I just can't help it
It's suicide, looking in your pale blue eyes is it killing yourself because it is so perfect? or because you know you cannot be that perfect?
Falling in love is easy to do
With the wind in your hair and the sand in your shoes
And though it may hurt to have your heart broken in two I am assuming that this person had romances that ended unfortunately, and was worried about this ending up like that,
That didn't stop me from falling for you He was in love with this person so much that he didn't care at all, and ended up falling in love.

Keep on Moving
Katherine Miller
Ouch!
The dishes seared at the touch,
The glass roughed my tips,
The silver wear radiated heat,
Standing back, I try again.
The tears stream down my face,
As hot as the Dishes under my control,
I keep on moving to get the job done,
No matter where my head is.
I replay it over and over,
Please, I beg you to calm down,
I will empty the dishwasher right away,
Then for my own good,
Will you please leave me alone?
This poem is really just a recent thing, about a figt between me and my father. He instructed me to empty the dishwasher which I did not object to doing. My first attempt burned my hands and I swore to myself, along with notifying my mother that I would be back in five minutes. In the meantime my father comes to my room and sees that I am not emptying the dishwasher. He drags me to the kitchen where he yells at me and makes me do it again. Writing this poem helped me to release my built up anger I had towards my father while writing this poem.

It Wasn't Just a Mistake
So my poem is really meant to be read word by word so that is how I am going to post it. It was originally supposed to be in the shape of a pie.
Walking
through
the
saloon
style
doors
with
feet
smooth
on
the
thin
carpet,
I
wait
for
a
signal
to
mix
then
I
begin.
A
simple
ingredient
for
the
pie.
Almond
Flavoring
instead
of
vanilla,
a
simple
mistake.
who
knew
it
was
an
early
sign
of
her
dementia
that
killed
her.
The Dog Route
Katherine Miller
Shuffling down the pathway,
Watching the Narrow Brown Paws,
Sniff, Run, Explore, Bark, Repeat,
Volume up loud, I'm Singing,
Stop in the itchy green grass,
Wait a moment then move on,
Lay atop the park bench, sun in face,
Turn the music up louder, grab a bag,
Keeping moving, Cross the street,
Flip your shades down to block bright rays,
Wait for the dog to go and use the bag,
Pick up the brown mush that radiates heat,
Fold the bag around your hand,
Jog all the way,
Home.

The Future
Katherine Miller
This is not the future we were promised,
We were painted a picture of peace and love,
That prediction was wildly dishonest.
The war of which we are the fondest,
Creating the drama to fuel life and destroy boredom,
This is not the future we were promised.
This is not what history insisted,
We made so many mistakes, you think we would have learned?
Our terrors now are self inflicted.
This is not on what we had counted.
We said jetpacks, but cars still destroy the planet,
This is not the future we were promised.
I would like to think that my ideas can be reused,
I want to know that one day, we will be content.
The great minds until then are being abused.
This poem is actually based off of a song called The Future by Spiraling. I started off by trying to write a challenge option but I had begun with a word that had very few rhyming options so I ended up stopping the poem and revising it to a version that I find much more enjoyable.

Overlooked Purposes
Katherine Miller
Sitting on top of the whiteboard,
Alone but crowded to find a place,
Unique but there are so many others like me,
That I cannot feel special.
What is my true purpose?
Merely a toy or novelty item?
A candy device?
Or merely a mild reminder of memories that people used to have?
Isn’t that a reminder of life?
Are we just someone who is there for fun?
A simple machine?
Something that will bring up memories when people see our gravestones,
Yet overlooked so many times.
